Master Cleanse End Of Day 10

Whoo hoooo I made it 10 days! Anything after this is just a bonus in my mind! The best thing that happened today was that my daughter started eating again (and she started with a vengeance!). I am VERY glad of this though, I was really starting to get worried, but she definitely made up for anything she had not gotten when she started today.

I felt much better today than I did yesterday. I could go back and edit my entry yesterday but that kind of defeats the purpose of this in my mind. That is the mood I was in and it is very important to know what is going on if you are reading about this. I think most of us can see a lot about a person from their writing and notice changes in their styles over time.

The salt water flush has become second nature at this point. It really is no problem for me at all anymore which is VERY surprising! I really thought that was going to be the worst thing ever. I do it as soon as I wake up in the morning and it is kind of a wake up call, but it does work.

I have also noticed that the flush definitely goes through faster than it did before. The first day I didn't even have any results from the flush except that it was AWEFUL tasting! The flush is definitely needed and part of the process. I have read of people doing various other things special detoxes, vitamins etc through the cleanse instead of just doing the salt water flush as it calls for.

Let me make this clear, and I am not a doctor, just someone going through this process. If you deviate in any way you will not get the results that are meant from the flush. If you try and do multiple detoxes at the same time, I can not see how that is healthy. Our bodies can only take so much at one time, this is a MAJOR life change if you make it 10 days on the Lemon Master Cleanse. You can do the others in a month or so, but this one is called the Master Cleanse for a reason.

You really are doing a lot of changes that you may or may-not understand or even be able to see. If you have been following this thread, I have been as candid about what I am going through as possible. This has not been as bad as I thought, but as I said I also had kicked caffeine quite a while ago.

Smoking has not even been a problem either which I really thought it would be. If nothing else I would say that this has been worth it for that alone! I have been able to fully kick that which I never really thought I would be able to do if you want me to be honest. Obviously over the years I have put them down many times (I even quit for over a year and a half during my pregnancy and while I was nursing). I was never able to get rid of the cravings though even after that long. Now I can honestly say that if I tried to have one now I would become sick (like the first time I tried one) I am sure I could "fight through" it like I did before but now that I know better that would just be stupid!

I have not lost as much weight as I thought I would, nor have I had black tarry movements. I have had tarry "movements" but nothing like the hard solid movements that I have read about. Talking to my husband though he brought up that I did have my daughter through natural child birth, and during that time I did have movements like that. (Again yes it is gross to think about and I made sure to ask my OBGYN when it was time to push I would not push until he told me he would not drop my child if I pooped or urinated on him.) I really did ask that prior to her birth!

He thinks that maybe why I have not had the movements. Our Chiropractic friends are torn they can't figure out if I am doing that well, or if I was that toxic that I won't get full results this time. They will tell me tomorrow what they think when they actually see me. The key factor they say though is that the yeast is off my tongue which is a sign that I am detoxified.

Over the past 10 days I have decided that if I can do this I can do anything. It has truly been a life changing thing for me and I know that the changes I will see have not really started yet. I will keep you posted through the end as well as how my eating habits have changed when I am fully done with this! Thank you for reading and if I have not addressed something please bring it to my attention and I will make sure to address it as well! Hopefully this helps someone to make it through their own detox program.
